Of Course I Would

To top off the hell that high school brings, I start my JC course. Currently taking nine classes I ask myself, "Can I even stomach making my life harder?” Well yesterday I manage that by spraining my left hand and wrist. Not only do I get to continue my classes with a sprained wrist, but I have to endure (from what we think) a month of one handed ASL. GREAT. My right arm getting tired from only using it, I will soon be a double arm cripple. Not to mention my back is giving me hell for sleeping on the couch last night (I fell asleep while icing my hand). At this point I am really just trying to search for the positive, albeit proving difficult. As much as I hate complaining to the internet, I feel like absolute hell right now and really just feel like writing. Huzzah for a short report.

  1. Ouch I am sorry :( I know how that is, I am developing carpel tunnel in my write hand so I am trying to use my left and now it hurts... >> I am sorry

  2. Well, what can you do? I have a doctors apt. for tomorrow and as much as I hate my dr I am willing to spill every bit of complaining I have. Before I hurt my wrist, I was already having hand and wrist issues (arthritis possibilities) and so I want to address that while I am there.

  3. At least a lot of ASL you will be using only needs one hand, or at least one hand dominantly. If you ever want to practice you can give me a call ahead of time and I will find time to squeeze you into my schedule. Hope things work out for you.

  4. Thank you Danielle. The ASL so far hasn't been too harsh on my wrist. The brace however makes certain signs awkward to sign. I will definatly take you up on the practice time, although it would pry be better if I waited to steal your time until there is something that is actually difficult.
